Cosy Vegan Café in Lancaster, UK
Me and my partner took a trip to Lancaster recently. As always I wanted food. I consulted my Happy Cow App for Vegan Food in Lancaster and I remembered that my friend had also recommended The Whaletail Café.
It was a little secluded but there was a sign post pointing you in the right direction. The Café was only a 5 minute walk from the train station which was really handy. It is a small cosy café and I believe there is a decking area to the rear of the property. However, it is situated above a shop so I am not sure on accessibility for the disabled.
We arrived around 2pm and it was still relatively busy which confirmed it popularity. Regardless of the amount of customers there we were seen to very quickly. I ordered the Tofu BLT and my partner had the Spicy Bean Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. They gave very generous portions and I will most certainly be going back for some of that delicious looking vegan cake.
There was a variety of foods on offer on their regular menu but make sure you check out their specials board as you first walk in. They cater for Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free. I thought the prices were very reasonable. However, I was a little disappointed I had arrived too late to try their Vegan Breakfasts.
The Whaletail Café also offers their own cookbook and if you are the artistic type you can contact them to discuss exhibiting your art work there.
