Are you looking for accommodation in Lisbon?
We stayed in Lisbon for 5 nights at Casinha Alfacinha. I would certainly recommend this apartment for your accommodation needs.
We arrived at the airport and jumped in one of the taxi’s outside. I had prepared beforehand and had the address of the accommodation written down. Lisbon is a city unlike any I have seen before. Small winding roads, great big hills and not a skyscraper in sight. We were dropped off down a little alley (yes I was a teeny bit concerned). However I had received a text message from the owners (David & Sara) saying that they would be right with us. They only lived in the apartment above us.
Sara met us and showed us to our room. I was pleasantly surprised by the size. It had a nice big living area, separate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The accommodation came with free Wi-Fi and Sara and David had very kindly left us a bottle of wine and some fruit as a welcome gift.
Finding our way around the City
Sara asked us if we would like a tour of the nearby shops and restaurants which we gladly accepted. She pointed out the best places to buy food, restaurants to eat at (we explained that we were vegan) and the monuments to see. This accommodation is only 5-10 minutes away from the city shopping centre which has loads of high end shops and endless places to eat. We had a slight problem with our door on the bathroom but David came and fixed this straight away and gave us some flyers for his studio and pointed us in the direction on a bike hiring company.
We were close enough to everywhere that we didn’t really need to use the transportation and wanted to walk around. Sara also very kindly sorted transportation back to the airport for us as we were leaving early hours of the morning.
Would I recommend this Accommodation in Lisbon?
Yes, if you are looking for accommodation in Lisbon I would highly recommend the Casinha Alfacinha. The rooms are spacious and the Wi-Fi is good enough that I was able to work on my blog whilst there. I felt completely safe and David and Sara were great hosts. The only con would be that the walls are very thin and you can hear a lot of what goes on in the other apartments. Thankfully, everyone was on their best behaviour whilst we were there and it didn’t interrupt my sleep in any way.
Some of my links are affiliates and they may or may not pay me a small fee for any sales made. However, I will only ever recommend those that I have tried/tested or thoroughly researched. There will be no extra charge for you. Any amount I make, however small, will help my blog to continue to spread the veggie way. Friends not Food!
